The Festive Fair at Leeds Castle took place in a large heated marquee with around 100 stallholders taking part. The day before the event was very hectic with most of the participants arriving to set up the stalls in advance of the weekend. Although Saturday morning started cold, the sun soon came out and warmed things up. In fact the whole weekend was blessed with sunny weather, which drew in large crowds to the event. In all over 6000 visitors passed through the castle gates over the weekend. The food and drink end of the marquee was particularly busy, with people sitting at the tables, enjoying the goodies on offer and relaxing to the music. The members of staff were kept very busy but the thanks at the end made it all worthwhile.
