One tiny sprinkle of rain in the whole month left the garden very dry and almost impossible to dig. To go with the drought we also had above average temperatures, often reaching the low 20s so that we were able to eat our lunch in the garden on most days. The garden was certainly looking very colourful by the end of the month.
