Day 5, Sunday: Crumbsparty
At Sunday lunchtime we gathered together at Ági’s for the Crumbsparty , i.e. to consume the food left from the reception. It was a time for relaxation and quiet conversation.
The crumbsparty was held in the tent we had put up in Ági’s garden on Thursday morning.
Gabi is busy preparing the tent for the party.
Bendi and Árcsi are inspecting the little presents we gave them.
There is a dinosaur in there but it must be put together. Can Granddad help?
If not, daddy surely can!
Kisgabi is going through the steps of putting the dinosaur together in his mind to check whether he might have made a mistake.
Hurrah! We see Bendi smiling at last!
With the mounting empty beer bottles the conversation is getting livelier. The orange juice box is still unopened!
We are all waiting for the soup.
Where is the soup? What is happening to it?
Was Gabi hogging it all the time?
We can all tuck in at last. Even better than yesterday!
The main course is served up: various meats with vegetables and stuffed cabbage. Stuffed cabbage always tastes better a day or two later.
While others are already on lighter cost, I am still enjoying my second helping of stuffed cabbage.
Someone has banged a glass so it is time for a kiss and cuddle.
All the gateaux! Surely we cannot eat all that! In fact Gyuszi and Ági took most of it to work for their colleagues.
Now Bendi is in his element!
Many of the table decoration from the reception have also been saved.
All good thing come to an end: it is time to clear up.
The memorabilia of the wedding for the newlyweds to sort out.
