A Sunny Day in Brighton (26/09/08)

The following are a mixture of photos that I took on a visit to Brighton seafront on a lovely sunny and warm late September day. Brighton first became popular in the mid 18th century, when the healing properties of the bracing sea air and seawater were advocated. The future George IV, as Prince Regent, visited in 1783 and once his Pavillion was completed in 1823 it became THE place to be seen. For further information on the history of Brighton see this site.
