The Family Fun Day this year included jousting, a Sedway trail, a contest to knock an opponent over on the equivalent of a bouncy castle, and bands. The weather could not have been worse and very few people were tempted to come to the castle to join in the fun. Rain and wind as well as low temperatures are not normal for the beginning of September. However, the brave knights in the jousting arena did their best to entertain the brave visitors who did venture out.
