Once again each department at the castle was given the job of building a fairy story representation for the children’s trail. In the case of the guides they were allocated the story of Rapunzel. I made a head from papier-mâché, Ann M. painted the face, Catherine supplied the clothes and Mick coloured the (rope) hair with tea and coffee. The different stories were set up around the grounds; the children could buy a sheet and look for them and at the end get a medal for taking part. Unfortunately, on the day I took most of the photos the aviary was shut because of bad weather so Little Red Riding Hood is missing from this selection.
