We had a gorgeous October this year with plenty of sun and temperatures in Gravesend reaching 20°C on a couple of occasions, although it is usually 3°C cooler in Meopham. Lack of rain meant that the garden was in much need of water so we had to continue using the watering cans. By the end of the month this year’s fantastic crop of tomatoes finally came to an end.
