Day 5: At the Paulys and Zehs
The morning was spent in the town, with lunch at our favourite pub, ‘Oma’s Kochtopf’. We were invited to coffee at the Paulys in the afternoon. There we were treated to Agnes’ cakes: an apricot cake and blueberry muffins made with her own fruits from the garden. A quick dash back to Kleinostheim and a change of clothes before going to the PSI get-together at the Zehs. As is tradition, Jo had prepared her usual tasty Chinese stew with rice. It was nice to meet up again with old friends and colleagues, whom we have known for 35 years.
‘Omas Kochtopf’ – our yearly pilgrimage. This time pikeperch was on the menu.
Coffee afternoon with Agnes and Hans Jürgen
Hans Jürgen picks apricots for us to take home …
… they are plentiful this year.

Our traditional fare: Chinese stew
Elfi’s plate is already empty.
Barbara has forgotten about food and is busy looking at photos.
Horst P and Elfi pose for the camera.
Jo explains her latest project:: a series of pictures, which are to go on the walls of the underpass to the new railway station.
Here she tells Barbara and Elfi how it is going to work.
The first picture, Hermes, is ready.
The dessert goes down well but perhaps Elfi finds it a little too sour!
