Day 7 (Part 1/2): Aschaffenburg Market
The Aschaffenburg market is a real treasure. It is open on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. When I lived in the town I tried never to miss the atmosphere and being able to buy really fresh produce. Why can’t we have such markets in England? We spent some time wandering around and taking in the sights before making our purchases. Then it was off to the supermarket to stock up on the bits and pieces that we miss from Germany.

The market place sits between the castle, town library and the concert hall.
