Meopham Garden Club Outing (13/10/2010)

Page 1 of 2: Hyde Hall

An almost full coach left Meopham for our day trip across the border into Essex. It was a dry but dull and somewhat cold day. Our first stop was at Hyde Hall, a Royal Horticultural Society garden. As the club is an affiliated society it is allowed one free visit to a RHS garden per year. We had been to Hyde Hall a few years ago on a summer outing but this time we were to see it in autumn. After a wander around the garden and a hot bowl of soup to fortify us we left to visit another Essex garden, Saling Hall.
