Our Garden – October 2010

On the whole October was not a good month weather-wise. We had lots of rain and a couple of weeks when the temperature dropped to below average. We even woke on several mornings to find a light frost. Luckily most of the plants survived and were still flowering at the end of the month, when the temperature had risen. The apples and pears were abundant this year. After a late start the autumn raspberries were also producing a bumper crop.
