On a sunny Sunday in July we went to visit Jennifer and Hooch in Brighton. After a quick walk around the town and a stop for lunch at a good Italian restaurant right on the sea front, we had a leisurely walk as far as the West Pier. The newly renovated bandstand was popular as was the small market selling mainly food items. There was plenty of entertainment for the visitors: boules, bungee jumping, a gyro ball and a climbing wall. After walking to the East pier, we took the Volks electric railway to the Halfway station on Madeira Drive.
