Day 1: Koblenz
We started out on our journey very early on the Sunday morning, taking the ferry from Dover to Calais. Once on the Continent we made good headway to our first stop in Koblenz. It was late afternoon when we checked into our hotel so we had time for a quick exploration of the town.
