After a quick visit to the Wednesday market in Aschaffenburg we set off for Mannheim. We had arranged to meet Rachel there and spend the day with her. She suggested going to Luisenpark, which she had never visited before. It was a good choice as there was plenty to see and do as well as plenty of refreshment places to quench our thirst on a very hot day. In the evening we met Ramon and his mother for a Chinese buffet meal before returning to Aschaffenburg.
