Frogmore and Savill Garden (6th August, 2013)

Once again Maureen succeeded in supplying us with sunny weather for our day excursion to Frogmore House and Savill Garden. Both are part of the Royal Estate and are open to the public.

Frogmore

After an interesting and informative guided tour of the house, we had some time to wander in the extensive grounds.

Savill Garden

After visiting Frogmore House we made our way to nearby Savill Garden. There was time for lunch and a look around the magnificent garden. Lin and I were very impressed with the colourful borders. Many of the flowers were full of bees and butterflies.
