Day 6: Homeward bound

On our way to Edinburgh to catch our train to King’s Cross we stopped for a short break at Hattersley Mill, where we were able to meet Hamish McKay Denovan, reportedly the oldest Highland Cattle in Scotland. The mill has an exhibition that we were also able to have a quick look at before boarding the coach for the last leg of our journey in Scotland, to Waverley Station, Edinburgh. An uneventful journey until we reached King’s Cross to find our coach for the last leg of the journey was at Euston! Never mind, all’s well that ends well.

Many thanks to Maureen for organising yet another interesting MHS holiday.
