South Africa Day 12 (part 3): Table Mountain and the Cape Route

Seaforth and Boulders Beach

Seaforth Beach is the first beach people arrive at when looking for the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. It reminded me of a tropical island with fine sand and palm trees. We had a meal in the restaurant, which is directly on the beach and specialises in seafood.

After the meal we made our way to the next bay, Boulders Beach, where we were able to observe a colony of African Penguins. Penguins settled here in 1982 and the colony now has a population of around 3,000 birds.
