Day 6: Trippsdrill Wildlife Park (continued)
After breakfast, which was a 15 minute walk through the woods, George and Rachel had a rest whilst Ramon, DG and I went for a walk in the nature reserve. There were plenty of animals to see as well as a birds of prey show.
Days 7 and 8: Mannheim
After 2 nights in Trippsdrill we spent the next 2 nights at the Mercure Hotel in Mannheim. We experienced the first few drops of rain since we arrived in Germany and it was somewhat cooler. Rachel and Ramon knew of a Hungarian restaurant in the town and the waitress was surprised to be able speak to George in her native language and made a fuss of us.
