Part 2 – Mannheim and Sunset over Aschaffenburg Castle
Ann was not so active with her camera as usual on the visits to Germany but there are plenty of photographs of Aschaffenburg (our old home town) on other pages. Our first outing was on 5th July to Mannheim, where we spent some time with our daughter, Rachel and grandson DG. However, DG had other ideas than spending time with his grandparents and spent a good part of our visit asleep. We were lucky in the evening to glimpse a fantastic sunset over the castle from our friends, Veronika and Friedel’s garden.
