Day 4: Pendle Witches Country with our guide Simon Entwistle
First Stop Pendle Village Heritage Centre, followed by Clitheroe and Samlesbury Hall
We followed the story of the Pendle witches in the Heritage Centre before travelling on to Clitheroe, where there were fantastic views of the surrounding country side from the Castle keep. We then drove on to Samlesbury Hall, where we had a guided tour of the interior and a quick look at the gardens.
