As an after Christmas quiz for the children each department at the castle was asked to create one of the 12 days of Christmas, which had been drawn from a hat. The contributions were spread about the castle and grounds.

The winner voted for by the public was Accounts for Ten lords a-leaping followed in second place by the HR and the executive office for A partridge in a pear tree.
