This year the decorations at the castle were based on pantomime stories and were again ably put together by the Castle Heritage Manager, Nic Fulcher, and his team of helpers. Due to snow the castle was shut for two days at the beginning of the month but the majority of the decorations were finished by the start date, 6th December, and will remain until Boxing Day. All the rooms have at least one Christmas tree but because some of the rooms can be used for functions in the Christmas period, certain rooms were decorated with trees only.
