This November was one of the warmest on record. Our first very light frost did not appear until 28th of the month and did little damage. Some trees, notably the Bramley apple and also the clematis in the cherry tree, still have plenty of green leaves. There were plenty of flowers still out, including some that should not make an appearance until next spring. Not only was it warm but also it was dry. Problems with a water supply are already being predicted for next year.
