Our Garden – October 2011

An above average temperature for the time of year meant that many of the plants that should have died back by now were still flowering. The dahlias did especially well. The primroses were very confused by the mild temperature and thought that spring had arrived. The southeast continued to be plagued by lack of rain, which meant watering some of the susceptible plants from time to time.
