Bressingham Gardens and Steam Heritage (11th September, 2015)
Gail did a marvellous job of not only organising a Garden Club visit to a beautiful garden at Bressingham near Diss in Norfolk but she also organised lovely sunny and warm weather. Once there we were left to our own devices. Lin and I made a beeline to the main garden. The gardens are extensive, colourful and beautifully kept. All the plants are labelled, which is a great help. There is the added bonus of a second large garden, Foggy Bottom, also immaculate. There is more to do than just wander around gardens. We had a ride on the carousel, the Victorian steam gallopers, visited the museum with steam locomotives and took a ride on two of the steam trains. Altogether a very good day out.
