Eileen’s Introduction
I was born in Edinburgh but have mainly lived in England. I studied modern languages at Leeds University. I have been a librarian and a teacher. My interests are: music, art, horse riding and Elizabethan literature, especially Christopher Marlowe.
Patrick’s Introduction
I was born in Derby in 1937 and spent my schooldays there. I studied German at Reading University and spent most of my working life at the British Museum and subsequently at the British Library.
My interests are varied encompassing gardening, reading, and travel to far away and preferably warm countries. I also like music of all kinds with the notable exceptions of pop and trad jazz.
