It was my mother and father in-law’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary on 17th December 2009. They wanted to celebrate with a party for friends and family which was held in the Crypt at St Peter’s Church, Walworth on Saturday 19th December.
Grandson Patrick’s friend acted as DJ and there was plenty of food and champagne supplied by Clara and Jack and close family members. The Queen sent a card!
Despite coming at the beginning of the snowy weather before Christmas, family and friends came from far and wide – including Aberdeen, Exeter and Taunton.
The party gave Clara and Jack an evening to remember.
