Rachel in Africa

December 2006 – January 2007

I went to Africa as part of a German aid initiative. At the outset it was intended that we were to go to Niger but the political situation prevented this and they were sent instead to Cameroon. The remit was to build a large house. The group all had connections to my friend Bernhard’s firm, which constructs children’s playgrounds from natural materials. Thus there was plenty of expertise.

We had many adventures on the way.

The photos are in no specific order as several people took them.
